philosophies, goals and love of the dachshund breed. We are an all volunteer group
that views its mission as rescue, rehabilitation and placement of rescued dachshunds
into loving and permanent homes. As we are a not-for-profit organization, we rely
on the adoption donations received when a rescued dachshund is placed in a
permanent home and on the generosity of the private and public sector for support.
Southern California Dachshund Rescue-

environment for unwanted and needy Dachshunds until a suitable replacement home is found
for them. SCDR does NOT breed rescue dogs, sell rescue dogs for profit or release a
rescue dog for any form of research. Our goal and objective is to place rescue dogs
into caring and loving environments and to enhance the love of the breed.

Almost Home Dachshund Rescue-
"Almost Home has a goal of respectful support
of independent volunteers who offer rehabilitation and placement of unwanted dachshunds. The network offers a new
approach to dachshund rescue in that we hope to offer a place for volunteers to access information from our national
website(www.almosthomerescue.org),post available dachshunds, and enjoy the support of other members in a friendly, open
forum. Through fundraising efforts we hope to provide our affiliates assistance with treatments beyond their own
rescue budgets. We also hope to offer referrals to other groups based on locality and requirements. Continued public
awareness of puppy mills, spay/neuter issues and responsible ownership will be important goals of Almost Home Dachshund
Rescue."
Dachshund Rescue NW-
Provides free classified ads to look for a dog or if you found one, you
can upload a photo of the dog here! We do not feature photos of
adoptable dogs on the site but email them to folks in the area that
they are available. That way folks adopt dogs in their own community
instead of shipping them across country.

rehabilitating and re-homing needy dachshunds and mostly dachshund
