Hi, my name is Charlie and I live in Bridgeport. I’ll be two years old this month… and I’m
very lucky to be alive! I was hit by a
pick-up truck on 4/11/08. My pelvis was broken in several places, and I
had some pretty severe injuries. I spent
two months in the animal hospital and battled through broken bones, MRSA Staph
infection, a hernia (hole) in my diaphragm, pancreatitis, and a LOT of physical therapy. I really
missed my mom and my big brother, and I’m so happy to be home now! But I need some help paying my bill… all that
time in the hospital added up to over $20,000!

I had wonderful care at the Hickory
Animal Hospital
in Plymouth Meeting. Dr. Brown and her
staff are the best. I’m getting stronger
and walking better every day, and I want everyone to know that they really
saved my life!
